An Italian wedding will generally cost between 20% and 40% less than the equivalent product in the UK
Originally from Rome (with an all Italian family), I moved to the UK 13 years ago, firstly making a career in the performing arts in London and then settling in the countryside in Cambridgeshire on a smallholding where I live with my husband, our chickens, and a large vegetable garden. Here we make our own bread, pasta, oils and throughout the summer months, we are virtually self-sufficient from our land.
I have always held a deep passion for high-quality food and wine, especially that of Italy which seems to have a never-ending variety of ingredients, combinations, and textures - the fact that at home we are able to use fresh produce at all times has fuelled this love for proper food even more.
I will introduce you to the best that Italy has to offer
I have worked in many positions in hospitality from behind the bar right the way through to restaurant manager and organising large events at major London venues. This work led me to what has become my true vocation, and in 2017 I started working in a beautiful hotel in the English countryside as a wedding and event planner, learning the skills and making contacts to plan English weddings in an upscale environment. I also successfully organised my own wedding near Rome and many of my friends in Tuscany, Lazio and Umbria!
My goal is to provide all the services from translation, planning, venue negotiations and most importantly catering that couples from the UK will need when choosing a wedding in Italy. I will introduce you to the best that Italy has to offer, using locations including farms, agriturismi, and vineyards that grow and farm their own organic produce. I want to help demonstrate that using an approach focused on natural, fresh and ecologically responsible elements, you can achieve a dream wedding that you and your friends and families will remember forever.
I give each job everything I have, and am always at the other end of the phone or Skype call, making sure the process is fun, personal and most of all stress-free
It should be mentioned that a factor in every couples big day will always be the finances (it certainly was at our wedding) but I have discovered through weddings that I have both planned and attended that an Italian wedding will generally cost between 20 and 40% less than the equivalent product in the UK leaving you a little extra to invite a few extra guests or buy another few bottles of Prosecco! Imagine your Italian wedding to be like eating a bowl of fresh Italian pasta: all the flavour, quality and ingredients that you can dream of without costing the earth.
With regard to my business ethic, I have a very “hands on” approach. I like each bride and groom to think of me as their new best friend. I give each job everything I have, and am always be at the other end of the phone or Skype call, making sure the process is fun, personal and most of all stress-free.
